[Blink⁄Blank] in Access to Memory － in Iceland

This is an installation work first shown in 2025. Using photographs, sound, and moving image, it reconstructs fragmentary impressions of landscapes that seem to drift within memory, inside a space enveloped in fog. On the work's origin, the artist writes: The starting point for this work was a trip to Iceland. During the journey, I photographed landscapes and spent time imprinting the scent of the air and its soundless stillness onto my body as a kind of memory. After returning home, I recorded an hour of sound while recalling those experiences.

本作は、2025年に発表したインスタレーション作品。写真・音・映像を組み合わせ、霧に包まれた空間の中で、記憶の中に漂うような風景を断片的に立ち上げていく。 制作の出発点について、本人はこう綴っている。 アイスランドを渡航したことが、この作品の出発点になっている。旅のあいだ、私は風景を撮影し、空気の質感や雄大な自然の音を身体に記憶させるように過ごしていた。帰国後、それらを思い起こしながら、一時間にわたる音を収録した。
